My wife and I were facing a huge and difficult total renovation of our 300-year-old cottage to get it ready for selling after bringing up our family there for the last 20 years. We knew that to create the fresh look that the interior needed we would have to work will a design specialist and, after a detailed search we chose Nykke Jones. Nykke was able to create a vision for us that completely matched the way we had been thinking. She brought this vision to life with a series of storyboards that convinced us that we had chosen wisely. She worked very closely with us on all aspects of the refurbishment right from the start. Her help in engaging the right contractors was invaluable. This alone saved us thousands of pounds and ensured that all plumbing, electrical, decorating, etc. was completed to the highest standards. I discovered Nykke Jones interiors after visiting a friends house which she had designed and decorated beautifully . Nykke helped me choose how to decorate my hallway and lounge and gave me suggestions of things I would have never have chosen myself. I am really pleased at how they have turned out. I didn’t want my rooms designed from scratch so Nykke had quite a tricky job to match with things I already had. She also did all the designs remotely. We decided we needed an interior designer for our beach house as we wanted some fresh ideas and the convenience of someone local to co-ordinate our project. We found Nykke by chance rather than recommendation, so we were a little bit nervous to take the plunge at first. We arranged to meet her and engaged with her straight away. She seemed to understand exactly what it was we were aiming for.
Nykke listened to all our thoughts and came up with some wonderful ideas and designs. We pretty much said, “yes, we love everything!” from the initial design work. Her pricing is very reasonable for the level of service that she offers.
